Also wanted to add after each event you will get a couple days of break in between

It also depends on the game i guess some might have one event after another without any break

Some might ...

And I feel like for me depending on what kind of game it is

It's nice to have those break in between

I hope you're enjoying the events your game has given you and managing to catch up and/or chill during those gaps!

I agree that people can try other games during what they phrase as "no content" time. It does have to come with the understanding of how live service games work, especially an otome visual novel. Everything is content because events happen one after another, some with a bit of gap, some don't but it all adds to the overall game's narrative expansion. It's only depending on which type of content people put weight on is often the reason why some say they are bored with nothing to do while some others would have endless backlogs (me, I have endless backlogs and I also decided it was fine to juggle 4 live service VNs lol).

In the end, it really is up to the person on how they weight and view the content they get. Sadly, some part of the general fandom space nowadays is filled with wanting to fit in and people end up following what the hivemind says rather than knowing what they want from the game they play. And that on top of how most people view content within a fast food consumption lens so well, here we are lol

I feel like people that want more frequent/faster story update should maybe take a break for a bit do other things play other games

Only logging in to use stamina or do a little bit of something here and there

Because if you take a look at most games it takes a couple months before a main story gets an update

In between those updates you get events and they do have a story

Event stories is still a story even if it's not the main story

And depending on the game the card also have a story whether it be short or long 

There is this game that I play where some event story is the main story ending

Like one event is the ending for vol.1 and another one is the ending for vol.2, vol.3 etc

And sometimes something that happened in an event might get mentioned in the main or something that happened in the main might get mentioned in the event 

And not everyone is up to date or have read everything that's already out

Some people might have some people might not have 

(I'm not sure if i'm using story/stories correctly and I'm not sure where i'm going with this)
